The absolute best in kiwi creativity, and this store continues to go from strength to strength. Step inside and you will be blown away. Fabulous customer service, and the friendly staff are only too pleased to help if you need assistance. If you're tired of imported products and looking for unique and handcrafted with love in New Zealand - this store is a must visit.
Great for New Zealand mostly handmade craft items. The level of craftsmanship and style does vary but it's a big store with a lot of stock. Individual crafts people that sell here manage they own stall, so this store is like a hundred small craft stalls
Even though I have an issue with the management, I'm still not going to go too hard out, and I'll keep it to 2 stars. It's just three times I wanted to become a vendor, and three times totally brushed off. The first time quite a while ago when my brother had a stall there, as I brought in some of my work a counter woman even questioned if I was the artist! The next two times it was just a case of not being contacted for months after receiving information on how to apply, followed by the big snub. Not very professionally run at all. Frankly, if someone started up a similar concept they could do with the competition.
Looking for a trinket, a taonga or just about any small craft imaginable, this is the place to shop. We often have visitors from overseas or from out of town and this is the only place we *need* to visit to collect all of the souvenirs they need. Very helpful staff!

Best place to get a variety of genuine NZ-made items. There are rows of individual booths, each with items made by NZ artists. There is a wide range of items at a wide range of prices. There is a little coffee/tea corner for a feee cuppa if you want to sit. Westgate shop is in the original shopping centre by JB Hi Di & Animates. Great location!
