My children have joined this centre since 2018, they are doing so well in both Math & English. Thank you Mrs Perminder Gill. Mrs Perminder is a highly professional person. She cares about her students and understands the children. she set high standard for the children who want to succeed. she also frequently liaise with the parents to discuss their children's progress. once again, thank you Perminder

The lady who runs the center has some serious psychological issues and is nothing short of a bully. This statement does not stem from anger or personal vendetta but from genuine concern for the children and staff who work there. She is extremely brash, rude and disrespectful in her demeanor. I am a previous employee and worked there for 4 months. Her incessant yelling makes it very hard for the kids to concentrate on their work, it makes your ears bleed and that is not an understatement. She ill treats her employees and the children. The pay is poor and she has a reputation for underpaying and over working staff and there have been instances of parents coming in and complaining but nothing has been done so far. Filing a formal complaint with Kumon New Zealand has been futile as they most likely will not shut the center down despite numerous complaints because they receive a commission from this franchise. Employees and students drop out like flies. She mostly hires only Indians because they are ill-informed about the legal processes here and are vulnerable at the time of newly being employed so they can easily be manipulated. She also mandates a months notice period once you hand in your resignation which is illegal as you are required to give only two weeks notice for casual employment. She makes you work for two weeks, 4 hours a day without pay under the pretext of 'unpaid training'. Basic amenities like water and coffee are not provided. The list goes on!! I have since worked with two employers (Fixed Term and Full-time) and it's eye-opening to know what employment benefits you are entitled to and be employed in a workplace free from bullying and harassment. I will make sure a legal process is followed and will chase this down till the complaint is investigated properly.

My daughter always struggle and maths at school since year 1 and her reports always saying developing. She is now in year 6 and her learning is getting worse. Through recommendations, I got her to join kumon earlier this year. The half year report in maths finally got an "achieve" in her academic level. She has gained so much confidence now as she see herself in capable of doing what she thought was a failure. Thanks Perminder for all your hard work! Some people may see Perminder as a tough and growling teacher, but I think it is necessary and my children needed that. Highly recommended.

She is excellent in her work. Treats staff as her own children, and she is so much into work, love and concern about staff and child, that one thinks at times how can you do this much amount of work? She wants her staff to be better then her, that "art" comes from a real hard working educator. It's not easy to do the same thing everyday. But it's a commitment, perseverance is must. She plans the goal to take the child beyond their age with in certain period of time. Works on children with difficulties. She is a real example of a "Guru" considered as greater then parents and God. I myself has learnt a lot from her, can't THANK God more, that gave me the opportunity to work and learn things from her.

Kumon is the best choice we have ever made for our daughter. Perminder Ma'am at the Mt Roskil branch is the best teacher ever. Its her dedication, determination, faith and hard work that always encourages my daughter to achieve her goals. We can't thank Perminder Ma'am enough for her rentless efforts and perseverance.
