Despite a busy Sat morning, the staff was very accommodating, warm, and efficient. Enjoyed the french toast, eggs bene with rosti and coffee very much. Will come back again to try the lunch menu and high tea. Many thanks.

It was great experience, food was pretty good. Waiter didn't gave enough information while they are delivering the food that shouldn't happen in fine dining restaurant.

Great dining experience. Went there for the Valentine's menu. Dishes were prepared and arranged pleasant for eye and taste very delicious. However wine serving was a disaster beginning with an out of stock choice without providing alternative and continued with inexperienced service.

My favourite restaurant in Auckland. Sophisticated yet simple flavours. Textures of all the proteins are excellent and spot on. I have nothing to complain about. Ambience is beautiful. I know this restaurant will do well. The team is kind and very friendly. I’ve been twice this week already and going again this Saturday. Its not often you find a great hotel restaurant these days but La Maree in the newly refurbished Sofitel is next level. We've stayed here many times over the years and had many an enjoyable experience in the Lava Room but the new team and menu are just operating at a new standard. We had dinner last night and couldn't fault the food, wine or service 10/10!!

Used to be lava dining, now change to La maree, Grand open this week, came here for lunch. All the dishes are very delicious. Service is professional, staffs are fantastic. Environment pretty nice too. Will come to try breakfast during weekend with kids.

Gorgeous settings inside the Sofitel Hotel , views over the water,, table or booth seating, outstanding staff, and the food is 5 star. Delicious A wonderful experience, we will be back
