La Zeppa kitchen and bar restaurant provides a conducive atmosphere for fine dining and or enjoying cocktail drinks with family and friends. The staff are definitely hospitable and accommodating but it only falls short on two main aspects: #1) The pacing of table service was rather slow. It took around 25 minutes for the main course to be served after having our appetisers and 15 minutes waiting time for the dessert. There were four of us in a party, two of us were served first with main course while the other two had to wait 12 more minutes before their mains were served. #2) Price wise- the serving sizes and presentation of food was mediocre. Food taste was average.

This place is amazing. Quite possibly the best place on Auckland. Gorgeous seating areas, unbelievable food. Can cater to any food allergy, tremendous staff, so friendly. I love La Zeppa, an absolutely perfect restaurant!

Good ambience but the drinks are expensive. The dance floor has undulations and it is dark inside hence there is a major trip hazard. Went there for a south Indian music party. Not very impressed with the event and bar.

If I had the option to give this place no stars, I literally would, due to the very poor service we had received from the blonde hair lady at the door. We honestly didn’t think that we needed ID to get into this place, as it doesn’t state it anywhere and we were not informed of it prior to the booking that was made. She had every right not to allow us in, but her approach with us was very rude and unprofessional. We had given her no reason to speak to us the way she did as we were really nice & understanding. Yet she spoke to us like we were children & not only that, she let a group of her “colour” go in without having to check their ID. The race culture in this place left us feeling very upset & unwelcome, along with her lack of empathy & communication. We also couldn’t understand how she allowed minors in this place and we needed to show our ID, just doesn’t make sense to me at all. As long as she is there, I will never step foot in this place, nor will I recommend it to others because I would never want them to experience what we had to, and this was our first time there aswell! I see a lot of bad reviews about her on here. If La Zeppa stands by giving their customers the best experience & allowing us to leave reviews, I’m really hoping that they will take the feedback given on here, to better their bar/restaurant. Also, I hope that she will be fired, because Customer Service is not her forte, neither is the colour red

I would love to love La Zeppa. But dudes! When are you going to update the stained cushions? Update the menu? Get rid of the fake flowers? The smell of old cooking oil? Please get in an interior designer or overall ambience designer. I can help you with the latter.

We hired space for 40-50 pax for a drinks & finger food event recently and everything was great! THANKS SO MUCH, La Zeppa, for your wonderful service and hospitality to make our event such a great success! Everyone loved it, and the arrangements (for refreshments, and space etc) were just great. No complaints. The communications prior to the event were excellent - prompt to respond and happy to meet requests. Will definitely be back if/when we do this again. Thanks again. Fa’afetai tele!
