I used to go to this pharmacy regularly now dont due to a repeat experiences with one staff member whom is so rude. In particularly when I went to order a repeat prescription she spat out that that needed to be requested 24 hrs ahead, which is fine only was never advised of this initially and then to be spoken to to in a very brash way put me off ever wanting to returning. Have gone to another pharmacy that dont need any notice at all.

Our GP faxed a prescription through to Life Pharmacy, Orewa, with five items on it. When I picked up the prescribed items only four were present. We visited our GP on other matters two days later and I told him he had forgotten to prescribe the missing item. He checked his record and said no, he had definitely included it, talk to the pharmacy. He then prescribed three new items and said I will prescribe that one again for you. So I took the new prescription for four items into Life Pharmacy. They said they would deliver them that night. The following night they delivered three items, the same item was missing again. I rang the pharmacy, and was told because there were outstanding repeats on the item involved, they had not actioned it. If I had been told that I would not have wasted my time pursuing it. I said we required a 3 month supply of the item, please action that and cancel all other repeats.Agreed and the item would be delivered tonight. Delivery just arrived. Five items! The one in question, plus the four other items which we received last night. Total inefficiency, lack of communication, and no idea or thought of the stress caused to elderly clients. We will not deal with Life Pharmacy again. Spoke to my daughter about our experience, she has had similar problems and has changed her pharmacy.
Teed up 2 flu vaccs. Got an email from the chemist saying time was changed to afternoon, turned up on time, no one had any idea we were coming in. Waited till administering nurse was located. Price turned out to be significantly more than competitors. Then asked to purchase some items which saleslady said they had but couldn't find. Mickey mouse. Impression is a family business run partly by grandma, grandchildren and the cat.
The staff try to be ‘friendly’ but can’t even locate one simple item on one of their own shelves!! They got the general area of the product that I needed and even I could see while they proceeded to search and entire wall for something. Staff are way too posh, wouldn’t go back if I had the option, but, unfortunately p, I don’t decide which pharmacy my family uses :(
This is my local pharmacy and I have come in a few times recently but have found each time the staff are so unfriendly. They act like it’s an inconvenience to serve people. Hoping the attitude will change soon
Worst pharmacy ever- if you want to met with hostility anger and lack of knowledge and general I’m better than you attitude this is the place for you. Would NOT recommend to anyone.
By far the WORST pharmacy I have ever been to in any country in my life. Attitudes of some staff are very arrogant and they beat around the bush instead of helping kindly. I said I would never go there again (after 3x failed attempts at the parmacist counter) but this morning one last chance was one too many. Won't recommend at all. Far better pharmacies anywhere else. (P.s. I actually managed first off everytime at another pharmacy) hope this spares someomes time in the future.
