The Monotone Flute

An absolutely amazing online shopping experience. Products were half the price compared to where I live and shipping was free, overnight and signature required. Everything was packaged very well to prevent damage and spills. Super happy with the purchase with no complaints whatsoever!

This franchise sells some cool beauty products, is well-stocked, and the staff are mostly friendly. But I'm giving it two stars because I've only shopped there once, and I was disappointed re: a purchase of some makeup. An employee mistakenly told me I could exchange a product if I tried it at home and discovered it was the wrong colour, when in actuality their policy is explicit not being able to return opened makeup. The manager apologised and said we two must have had a misunderstanding, but this is my PSA in case it wasn't one. (As a former retail employee, I know how easy it is to miscommunicate with customers, but I also have a pretty clear memory of what I was originally told and wouldn't have bought the makeup otherwise.)

This was my preferred pharmacy for many years. Not only for prescriptions and chemist stuff we need, but because they also sold my favourite cosmetic and perfume brands Christian Dior and Chanel. These days I avoid it. My last few visits to spend quite a bit on new cosmetics was terrible. The specialist CD / Chanel women were not interested in serving me. They only served me in the end because they had to. I was treated like a nuisance and they were clearly hurrying so they could get back to customers of their own ethnic race. No smile. No help. Just a cold reception. Sorry a Caucasian business women with money isn’t a wealthy Asian - your obvious preferred customer. I’ll not be back and will spend my hard earned money elsewhere

I recently ordered from Life Pharmacy St Lukes and I was blown away by the efficiency and care. I received the order overnight and when it arrived it was wrapped so beautifully and they had included a little sample of sorts. I am so impressed with the care that was taken for just a box of vitamins!!
