Great local place for a dip at high tide. Especially nice one sunny day and an easterly wind blowing

Vlean Beach water. Last time we swam there i had loads of small bumps so I had to get out. We visited recently and the water was clean. No foam at the shore and surprisingly translucent. I didn't fully submerge my body in the water, just walked in with the water up to my knees. The water felt refreshing and I envied those who could swim.

Whats not to like about this beautiful beach on a sunny day with the tide in? Lovely boardwalk around to Half Moon Bay is great too.
