Thank you Team for the Awesome Experience, we booked my uncles birthday here for 20 people, the staff are very friendly and chef is on point. Yummy food and warm welcoming environment. Music is great! Thank you Beth and Team. We will be back. 10 stars from me.

Although it took a while to receive my drink, it was totally justified because they were really busy and the "Dolly Parton" was well worth the wait. My friends had Mango margaritas or martinis. Thanks team.

Average dinner, slightly over priced and service were inexperienced around special dietary requirements. No vegan options. Nice seating layout. music a little too loud to enjoy conversation.

I am a huge fan of Lone Star having eaten at this Restaurant before where we had exceptional food. On this occasion, however things went awry. The establishment was virtually empty and due to the fact that we were four adults and three children we requested a booth. We were advised that we could not be seated there and that other areas of the restaurant were off limits. This was disheartening as we had travelled specifically to Pukehoke to eat at Lone Star. If we had been seated at said booth and given a time limit that would have been better service than trying to seat us at a geometrically opposed location. Safe to say I will not recommend nor try Lone Star any time soon.

Great outside courtyard atmosphere, fireplace for those cold Auckland nights, watched the League Finals on the tv above fireplace, great service by the bar and waitress team

Six of us came to the restaurant without a booking. The restaurant was full so we were given the option to go into the bar to a booth, which was great. The food was absolutely brilliant (and the coffee was beautiful) - we could not fault it in any way whatsoever. The waitress was excellent!!! We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Our waitress was was super lovely, patient and accommodating. However, the layout of the restaurant was confusing. I ordered a vege burger off the menu and everything seemed fine, five minutes later our waitress came back saying "sorry we can't make that for you, its a bar item." It wouldve been great if I were informed about this when I ordered it... We waited quite a long time for our order even though the tables were mostly empty. Our drink order never came. It was just an order for a lemon, lime & bitters, and a coke. My father ended up going to the bar and ordering the drinks himself. My parents order arrived first. My order didn't arrive until 15 minutes later, so everyone had finished their food already or was nearly finished. It was kinda awkward just sitting there watching them eat while I had nothing. We left and got dessert elsewhere. The establishment is clean and tidy. Overall it was a negative experience, but not horrific. It would be nice if the meals were prepared in a way that allows everyone to eat at the same time.

When a customer comes in and the restaurant is almost empty, asks if they can get a seat somewhere which suits their needs at that time please consider them. “The manager said the area u want to occupy is not available” is just not good enough especially when all we wanted was to avoid our kids from running all over the restaurant. Get a grip!
