I came across the Lot23 café/studio whilst taking a shortcut on foot, on my way to K'Rd, having just left my car for a service and WOF at the nearby and excellent Fredco Motors garage. Since I like coffee and was was curious about the art they have on display, I asked for a long black in a large cup, with a bit of cold milk on the side. The coffee was apparently Brazilian. I am used to drinking Arabica. Well, the coffee they made for me was one of the nicest brews I have tasted in Auckland, and cost 4.00. Not bad. The art was a bit nouveau for my liking, though rather well done, I thought - though I am no real judge of art. But that coffee- yum! Highly recommended for the coffee alone.

the new home of the LaSanMarco coffee machine and the in-house roasted beans from brazil cafe on Krd in auckland. coffee is as good as I remember from years back when we would crawl out of bed and drag ourselves around the corner for a strong espresso and hang out at Brazil Cafe with the other weirdos musicians, fellow junkies and freaks in the neighbourhood. its now an Indian restaurant.
