Stopped by the shop to pick up some chocolate after a friend suggested we head down to take a look. The shop has plenty of different types of chocolate products as well as other things like books and card. Plenty of options but I went with the macadamia toffee crunch and the chocolate dipped shortbread. The shortbread was a little dry and the chocolate wasn't tempered so there was no crunch when you bit into it. The crunch, on the other hand, was crunchy and delicious. Again the chocolate didn't seem to be tempered but the crunch was crispy enough without it. There are few other products that also look interesting like the brittle.

This Chocolate is amazing I repurchased and gave some to family to try and their reactions were as anticipate..gobsmacked!! The money is well spent as this is a delightful mouthful - try the classic Macadamia Butter Toffee Crunch.

The chocolatea are awesome, I tried the hazelnut caramel and it was a hit. Loved it

We have been to makana confectionery in kerikeri a few times.. just can't get enough of these chocolates...the ambience..and the service is just awesome.. my favourite is macadamia toffee crunch.. yummy.
