Finally got to come down and enjoy a game of rugby while having Dinner and a couple of drinks. Ended up joining the Mangere Boat Club. Made a few new friends and enjoyed a lovely Sunday outing. Friendly atmosphere where we were welcomed in.

I like this place... it's close to home and the doggy park! And there are lots of other places to choose from, if you carry on down the road

I actually did the walk round the mangere esplanade, with beautiful views and very friendly dogs with owners, makes the trip from Papatoetoe all worth it.Just make sure to go early round 6 - 6.30am.as too do a round trip takes 1 1/2hrs and that's including walk through Ambury Park.Take along water an maybe a fruit , keep you satisfied. Enjoy.

Nice place to chill out, lots of families take their food to eat on the sloping green bankside, others played games with each other. Beautiful Vibrant Red blossoms on the Pohutakawa Tree, it is also known as the "Christmas Tree". Lovely to see in Mangere Bridge God's created beauty!
