For schools it provides environmental and bi cultural education programs about the natural, historic and cultural values of Mangere Mountain and its related environs. For the visitor we have a range of guided and non guided walks, cultural and craft workshops and activities and provide a cultural gateway to the Auckland region. Uniquely our volcano combines out of classroom learning opportunities with free and independent tourism and recreational visitor experiences.
