I take my 1 and 3 year old weekly for new books and they love it. The staff are super friendly, know the kids on sight and have made great recommendations based on the kids interests. The kids adore it, from scanning their own books at checkout to climbing the reading mountain to discovering a new book about a favourite character, getting library books is one of their favourite "chores" to do.

Exceptionally well maintained, beautiful and quiet library. Has quiet place where you can read without being disturbed. Plenty of parking and located next to nice restaurant so you can take a book and read outside. You can browse internet and take color as well black & white prints / scans. On the top of that if your Auckland resident it's completely free.

Good library, unfortunately today whilst browsing for books, a group that had been in the conference rooms came into the library proper. They were loud and showed no respect for other people in the library which is meant to be a quiet space for people to browse for books and use the facilities provided. What dismayed me the most was the staff did not approach these persons and ask them to keep the noise level down. I had to leave before I said something myself.
Really welcoming community library. Excellent resource for learning. Recommended. Lovely large mural painting. Very helpful staff.
I love visiting all libraries. Just a little disappointed with the bin inside the toilet area. Went to throw some rubbish into the bin and a whole bunch of fruit flies came out. Freaked me out! Forgot to let the librarians know about it as I got distracted with looking for CD's and picked up a book!
Its clean. The staff is helpful. And the environment is quiet so that you can get readings or assignments done. Overall good atmosphere.
