Best fish and chip shop I know! And I know a few! But this place is best! It also has that old school Kiwi Fish and Chip shop feel, which is no surprise considering they have been around for many decades. The food for your money is second to none! Awesome place!

They are consistently good at making excellent fish and chips. They're also consistently bad at being convenient. They often don't answer the phone, they close early, and last visit they had no eftpos. Yet their food is so good, I couldn't think of giving them anything other than 5 stars. In the queue with me last visit was a Chinese gentleman driving a late model Audi, a truck driver, a guy with Mongrel Mob tattoos and a very well dressed older gentleman who would not have looked out of place on Remuera Road. Marsic's is a local institution, loved by people from all walks of life.
