Came here today to catch up with a friend as she suggested the place. For the both of us, it was our first time coming here as she’d only been to the one in Manukau. The food was delicious and the presentation was amazing too! The place itself had a nice atmosphere and the service was really good. Definitely will come back again.

What a lovely place. From the moment we walked in we were made welcome and given a menu straight away. Our server was very attentive and makes a decent coffee too (definitely a bonus). The staff are so kind too - I witnessed 2 of them helping an older gentleman into his chair. The food is lovely and hot. On our most recent visit we had creamy mushrooms and a breakfast buttie. I loved how the house rosti was shaped like a birds nest. The house soda is also very refreshing. I am definitely going back.

We had a couple of issues here , they forgot or missed a coffee off our order and when asked about it they didn’t even have the decency to say “oops sorry about that “ they made the coffee and shoved it at me then left , a small amount of customer service in that instance would have gone a long way . Also I ordered the breakfast buttie which said it came on a brioche bun and it came out on a regular hamburger bun which is fine but it would have been nice to have been told “hey sorry we are out of brioche but we have this “ again this comes down to a lack of basic customer service . The food was pretty good over all not amazing or outstanding but solid , I probably won’t come back though with so many other options in the same street , they really need to look at how they treat their guests .

Very friendly and helpful staff. Coffee could have been stronger. Potatoes on Goodness Grill could have been cooked a little longer. The rest on the plate was good and altogether the meal was good value for money.

Little gem hidden away in Ellerslie. Beautifully presented and delicious food at a very reasonable price. I especially enjoyed the cinnamon french toast, it was perfect in every way.
