The mentatz signature ramen is really good it comes with the normal meat slices as well as super soft chunky meat?? 10/10 would recommend

Extremely disappointing. I came here for lunch early afternoon and it was fairly quiet; the place was entirely run by what seemed 3 students (the kitchen is open; not to say students can't cook by the way!). I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Don. As a Japanese food-lover, this was, as I said, incredibly disappointing. It was essentially greasy deep fried chicken & rice, with a spurt of mayonnaise on top. This place is seemingly not the place for authentic Japanese food, haha.

Ordered a spicy tonkatsu ramen, was the worst I've ever had. The broth was extremely oily and didn't resemble or taste like a tonkatsu should.

Gone downhill, food now is too oily and salty, 1/3 of menu removed. Sad because this used to be a favourite of mine.

I've been to here for so many times and it used to be one of my favorite restaurants. However, it's disappointing that the quality of the dinner is getting worde. The manu was changed and some of my favorite foods were gone. And the foods (I ordered ramen and fried chicken) were sooooo salty. That's really sad to have to say bye to my previous must go dinner in cbd as the food are not good anymore.

Amazing place! I live out of Auckland but every time that I visit the city this place is a must! Shame that the Miso Katsu Don is not on the menu any longer! Highly recommended!!!
