the receptionist needs to learn people skills.. She was rude.. in this time of covid.. and the uncertainty of having this procedure done.. In the letter it says 1 support person. 7am we rock up.. greeted by an absolutely fantastic nurse.. who answered questions was very accommodating. When in walks the receptionist. First words " Who are you? I said I was here with my partner who was in the toilet. To which she said "You will have to go, we have a 1 in only policy" As I just started to explain to my partner, she comes over again and says " you'll have to go". I said " I am just explaining to my partner ok". Not once did she have a smile on her face.. or one ounce of compassion. I did a 12 hour shift Yesterday. Was up most of the night with my partner, who had taken the clean your bowels out drink..and up at 6am to get him here and to support him. As it says in the letter you can have "1 support person."they sent out. Then to be spoken to like that is very poor service.. So I now have to find someway to amuse myself for goodness knows how long..
