Delicious Mexican food. Quick service and friendly staff.
The place is very large and clean. The staff was very friendly and nice to talk with. The staff explained to me clearly what I had to do as it was my first time eating there and ordering food. It was good as they went slowly so I know what I had to choose between and make it very easy as I say sorry for being a pain and the lady say it is ok as it is your first time. It was good to see all the options and she explained all the different types they had before I chose what I wanted. It was fast to cook and I got to found a seat and enjoy my meal. It was quiet but it was good as I didn't want to block up other customers. The food was delicious and I will go again.
The food was plentiful, fresh and tasty. Good to have a few extra sauces and salsa to top up on. Friendly service. A good place for a quick bite to eat but the atmosphere was underwhelming.
Staff is nice... Not outstanding.... They are not Mexican.... With a name like that... My expectations are PRETTY high.... Mexicali is very specific... Not just Mexican... I lived in the Mexicali valley for eight years... Also... Every time I go to a different place... (New to me) I make it a point to check any place that advertises Mexican food... There was a tint of sweet on my order.. btw I asked for the pulled pork mini burrito...and the attendant asked me ... What kind of meat?..... ???.. double margaritas... Are certainly not double... Staff was nice... Hence my three stars...the only sweets used in Mexican food are chocolate Abuelita for the mole.. and is used more for consistency... On their behalf... I should NEVER go into a "Mexican" food restaurant if the staff are not (nor do they look) Mexican....
Staff was super friendly and helpful about dietary restrictions. Great vegetarian options available. Good views of the tower from the second floor eating area. Our meal was delicious and well presented.
Lovely quick Mexican, great Allergy menu. Would recommend.
