Great vegetarian food. Low prices. Especially ideal for Jain meals where onion and garlic is not used in cooking. All the food served is delicious and without above mentioned ingredients. They can run out of food as well, due to popularity. The location is popular too. Parking can be difficult to find nearby though.

Great food and friendly staff, I go often and pay the student price of just 6 for curry, dahl, rice, pakoras, and semolina desert. Nice atmosphere, floor cushions and seating. A clean and relaxed environment.

(June 2014) Delicious food and quite minimalistic setup. Liked it. Kind of hidden place on K Road and now named as Mukunda's - thanks goes to my boss for making it possible for me to try it and suggesting other good restaurant on Symonds Street!
