We came here for my sister’s birthday. She has worked in many hospitality roles and always notices things like organisation of staff. This experience was faultless. An amazing atmosphere, stunningly authentic food with a huge vegan selection for my sister and to top it off it’s a family run establishment. Carol the owner was truly lovely.

Visited here for a special birthday dinner. Had to book us beforehand since the place so popular for their delicious food. We bought a birthday cake for this special person and the manager asked what the special occasion was for. When we let her know, she led the whole restaurant customers and staff sing the happy birthday for our family member. It was a great evening and a memorable experience. Would recommend and come here next time. Thank you Mulan staff and team :)
Super yummy food, diverse menu caters well for my vegan friend. Massive portions at reasonable price. Comfortable tidy and warm decor, with friendly team members and good menu suggestions. I've eaten here 5 times and always delighted.
Superb vegetarian and vegan options. Seperate vegan menu. Generous portions, delicious food prepared to a high standard. Friendly service, have been several times and never disappointed. Can’t recommend enough.
Authentic Malaysian food with a twist of home cooked style. Super tasty and flavourful. Quite possibly the best Malaysian restaurant in Auckland. Great value for money, great service and atmosphere. Highly recommend to any Malaysians missing a taste of home with some added flare from the chef's home style recipes.
Outstanding service and amazing food!! Had my birthday dinner here on a Friday night and James & the staff were very accomodating. It was a busy night but they made sure my guests and I were comfortable and had everything we needed. They also sang happy birthday and took care of the cake I brought in which made the night extra special. The food was also delicious and perfect for sharing, highly recommend!
Just had chicken satay and market fish, they were all delicious, so rich. And also service was awsome. As I understand this place is family restaurant. I highly recommend to try this restaurant
Such a beautiful restaurant with amazing staff. The food was authentic and delicious - every dish we tried was unique and cooked to perfection! Will definitely be dining here again soon.
