Love this experience. Definitely will do it again. The hoses was really nice a easy to ride. My 5 years old son really enjoying it as well, he went with the instructor frist and my horse was following him.

Disappointing experience. No actual stops to take photos are included. Also, the horses walk in single file which makes it difficult to interact with your partner or mates. The animals seem rather bored. The crew is knowledgable but was poor at communicating. Generally the trail is nice but gets rather monotous quickly. Don‘t expect to spend a lot of time at the beach and move around freely - most of the trail is through the dunes and the forest. No flexibility is granted reagarding taking off high vis vests for a quick photo stop even though only 10% of the rout is on the road for which the vests are intended.

Totally awesome time with amazing guides who totally loved and cared for the horses. The horses seemed to have just as much fun as we did. Highly recommended.

I had wanted to propose to my partner, horse riding on the beach, before even hearing of Muriwai Beach Horse Treks. We did that last weekend and it was perfect! Saara was absolutely amazing! She crafted the most special and perfect proposal. My partner kept saying that it felt like a dream. Lucy (the guide) was fantastic and the horses were awesome. Not that I ever plan on needing to propose again, would totally recommend. The entire proposal was perfect in every way and I wouldn't change anything about it.

I didn't know what to expect but I had the best time this morning. The two staff were helpful and caring of those in the whole group but I was truly impressed with their ability to encourage and give confidence to the children. Amazing people skills! The trek was lovely today with a gentle sea breeze and new spring growth in the forest. I'll be back for more.

Great experience! Frankie and Dark were both amazing! I would 100% recommend this to anyone that is interested. The guides were brilliant and passionate. Horses are well looked after.

We did a family horse trek yesterday. Both boys never been on a horse before but we were all made to feel comfortable and safe. The ladies who were our guides were awesome - we did the walking only 1 hour trip and they were always checking we were ok and giving instruction as needed. Super friendly. Horses were great and obviously well cared for and loved. Will definitely do again and recommend.
