Cheap quality and cheap service. They used to have an sales spot on Botany Road and that’s where we got ours installed for the convenience about 3 or 4 years ago. The plastic hangers are so thin and fragile and same is the sides of the weights which kept breaking not long after the installation. The guy used to just replaced them. Then they moved to nowhere. If you’re lucky you might get some after sale services and they only mark up those essential parts 10000% to make more money out of what you’ve already paid.

Little late but I guess I owe this review to no. 1 blinds and Larah for the great service. Our case was little difficult due to bay windows. The team did the first set of blinds. In some cases the gap was little more than expected. They promptly came to visit us. For some blinds it was the issue of window frame and for others, they rectified it right away. Ravi and the other gentleman doing installation were great and someone from Sales was there to support as well. Sorry, I don't have their names but overall great choices to choose from and most importantly good service.
Salesman did his job well, sold me in. Installer came and did the job, no issue at the time. However...the roller blinds have jammed three times within the first year of me having the blinds and the service I’ve experienced to get someone out to fix it has been poor. Each time I’ve had someone out to fix it, they’ve made a comment about the poor installation. Has No 1 Blinds offered a long term solution like re-installing? No. They’d prefer to waste my time and that of their installers time. Never again.
I contacted number1 blinds to install blackout rollers for my daughter’s room because the existing curtains were leaving too much of a gap and light was coming in around the edges. I paid 281.04 to have the “blackout” rollers installed under the curtain. Much to my surprise, they have not helped one bit. The room is still filled with light. I can still read a book to my daughter without a light on at 8:00pm. Since the installation three weeks ago, I have left four messages and sent one email to enquire what can be done. The lady who sometimes answers the phone has told me that someone will call me, but they never have.
We were under bit of time pressure moving into a brand new home in West Auckland and very confused with what would best suit our home. We would like to thank and appreciate Larah and the team from No.1 blinds for providing an excellent service. We are extremely satisfied with the blind options, choice of colors, the quality of the blinds, the quote to order process, sales consultation and the overall pricing. Would definitely recommend them to all our friends and family.
