Have had sort of a “love-hate” relationship with NZ post for a while now. But for the past 5 months, I’ve had 92% delivery success rate with them which is great, considering everything that’s happening. There was one instance of “delivery attempted” which usually happens when there’s no one at home to claim it. But I was at home the whole time, so I went to this branch to claim it. The lady was very nice to me and handed over the parcel with no hassle. So all good appreciate all that you do!

Why on your delivery note you state that the opening hour are until 7PM if you close at 5PM?? Poor service

why can’t the post do their simple job and deliver parcels?? my friend almost missed her GRADUATION because of how lazy and useless they are. didn’t even bother trying to deliver the parcel(containing her regalia) to our apartment the day before the graduation(when the delivery was scheduled). then told us that it will be delivered to us early next morning, in time for the 10am ceremony. then at 9:30am after several calls they decided to inform us that the parcel will need to be picked up. had to rush there last minute, was told by the staff that they suddenly couldn’t find the parcel anywhere. when it was finally located by them after several minutes, lady took all the time in the world to simply scan a code, we kept trying to ask for her to give us the parcel because our uber was waiting for us for about 5min by then, the ceremony was starting in 10 min and she just didn’t care. and when we asked why they failed to deliver to our address the day before and complained about how bad the service was and said that we are late to a once in a life time experience, the lady THREATENED to take the parcel away from us and not give it at all!!! absolutely HORRIBLE customer service!!!! RUDE staff that can’t complete simple tasks. its as though the workers of this specific post shop want to ruin the day of any customer that enters. I honestly dread having to go back there ever again.

Delivery driver didn't attempt the delivery, just left the card to call on my doorstep. I was walking to the door when I saw him pull up in my driveway from another room but he never knocked and just drove away.........

The opening hours are great for people that can't get there before 4.30pm

what a service. Waited at home to get the parcel whole day cuz I knew that they are bad at doing their jobs. But NO CALL NO BELL NO NOTHING but straight ‘attempted’ I knew it would be like this again but this time I didn’t even get a pickup card had no idea where it was. Didn’t show on website either. I had to call the contact center to find out where they left my parcel and where the is the collection point. After all I decided to arrange another delivery since I cannot make it to the collection point before 5pm during workdays. Guess what the contact center lady said! ‘I think you should go pick it up by yourself because it is not that far from your address.’ SERIOUSLY? CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?

We had an awful experience with NZ post for our parcel delivery. My flatmate and I had four parcels booked for delivery to our apartment. However, none of them was delivered to us, and no card was left. Three of the four parcels even re-directed to the sender. We have to contact sender to re-delivery and collect at the post office. We can't even re-delivery to our apartment again, because we worried the driver won't delivery and re-direct will happen again). Huge delay and inconvenience caused to us, and lots of time were involved for us to sort out our parcel, very disappointed with the service. When we called the NZ Post, they said the driver noted down ATTEMPT DELIVERY, NO PARKING. Therefore, the parcel wasn't delivered. We are absolutely shocked and can't believe the driver was not telling the truth. Our apartment building is not even in the Auckland CBD centre area (i.e., Queen Street, Federal Street, Britomart), where it's hard to find parking. Our apartment building is more at the Auckland CBD's outer circle, close to the Ponsonby area. Our apartment building also has an open yard, with lots of parking off-street and parking space just in front of our apartment building. Our apartment unit is on level 1 (ground floor) with an open yard, no card or key is needed to access our apartment unit. We also have a yard (with an open gate, no key or card required to access) with our apartment, which the driver can leave our parcel inside the yard safely too. We are very disappointed the driver did not even try to delivery the parcels. We believe the reason is that our apartment building is brand new, the driver can't be bothered to find out how to access the building yard. We hope NZ Post can give their drivers more training and the drivers can have more responsibility for their job. The drivers need to understand how important their job is.

Consistently, some of the most condescending and unhelpful people I have met. I would actually prefer to speak to a robot. I dread having to go to this post shop because I always leave feeling disrespected. There's one older woman in particular who sees every question or interaction as an opportunity to assert her dominance over the puny customer. Don't even think about approaching her with a smile, she will shut you down. I will always go out of my way to use a different service whenever possible.
