Excellent service at the best price! We hired one of the older models and it was clean and comfortable and drove very well, even on hilly and winding open roads. We were very impressed. Pick up and drop off was very fast and hassle free. Location is a convenient short walk from the city centre. Staff are friendly. Highly recommended.

Collection was smooth. Attendant (Belinda) was very sweet. Car was clean and in good shape. Drive was quite pleasant though gas mileage was not optimal. I’m rating this a 2 because of the following: The car return drop off process is downright appalling. We phoned in to check before coming. Upon arrival, no one was at the desk. I had to holler for someone before they came running out to tell me I had to drop the car somewhere else. Seriously, you didn’t bother to tell me when I called? They gave me a paper map and sent me out. I drove a block away and parked on the 5th floor as instructed. After that, I was asked to walk back to their office to return the keys. Sadly, will not be a return customer if car drop off is that bad.
Reasonable pricing, friendly efficient staff and clean well-serviced cars at a convenient downtown location. Two thumbs up!
I had a really good experience. I dropped in, the staff were really helpful, arranged a car for collection for the next day, the price was reasonable and I was able to drop the car off at the airport for no extra charge at the end of the rental term. Also during my trip I was able to arrange taking the car to the South Island with a simple phone call to Omega as they act as agents for Interislander ferries.
I've used Omega twice now and both times have been super easy. I found their customer service excellent when I was picking up the car. Drop off at Auckland Airport was super easy, there was a van waiting to drop me off at the terminal. I would recommend.
Efficient service and well priced. I enjoyed working with Omega car rentals and the staff member who handled my rental was very professional and friendly.
Uncomplicated, inexpensive and no-surprise car rental that extended from 10 days to 32 days. Easy pick-up and return. Good staff.
