An ideal place for gatherings such as celebrating a birthday, anniversaries, friends get together etc. The management is friendly and happy to assist. All facilities such as drinking water, washrooms, ample car parking, open space for kids to play, a gothic style structure craves you to click selfies. I heard that this happened to be school some years back, the school got shifted nearby and the community then decided to retain this property for its people.

The Onehunga Community House is a much cherished community facility. The annual Rotary Club book sale fundraiser is the best in inner city Auckland.
Tony and his team welcome visitors and regulars. Many activities are carried out here. Dance, weaving, yoga, cello concerts to name a few. Love the acoustics!

Beautiful old building, I had no idea about this place and I drive past it 5 times a week.
This place is a gem - the rooms have excellent light with an open and airy feeling. There are IR ceiling heaters for winter and lots of windows to open for cooling in summer. OK, not the latest bathroom and kitchen facilities but this adds to the overall charm. The front car park has been seriously improved in the past year and exterior paint & repair is in progress. Real nice.

Lovely old place well kept traditional like. Good place for a function. Acess to outdoor deck area which is nice option. Reasonable rates for hire age.
