I didnt know about this place till a friend recommended it after I needed emergency glasses for my father... (other chain retailers were saying 2-3 weeks to get glasses ready - ___ - )... my friend said they could do same day... I was skeptical but desperate.. took the chance to go into the CBD to get glasses ordered and I was pleasantly blown away... Such amazing people and such professional service too.. Unbelievable how the timeframes are so different... and they dont even charge more for their "express" service... Im really glad I found them and i returned to get my own glasses prescription from them last week.... Same great service, quick turnaround, and they even remembered me from my last visit which is absolutely amazing... shows how close they are to their customers!

Best optometrist with affordable frames and lenses, been going to them for over two years now. Highly recommend you check them out. A lot more affordable than OPSM and Specsavers especially when you have a higher prescription, as lenses only can cost a bomb at those places.\u200d️ Excellent customer service each time and they’re so friendly, helpful and welcoming! Just ordered some glasses today that would’ve cost me more than double at OPSM. So glad I found them those two or so years ago! Haha Thanks Optics1! Keep up the awesome work!
Very professional and super friendly. Best value for money and you don't have to wait 3 weeks to get your glasses! If there are any problems they're willing to fix it straight away and with only a one hour wait. Also you can actually get super stylish glasses without having to pay hundreds and hundreds for them.
Optics 1 have been my go-to for my glasses for 4 years now! Ally and her team always go above and beyond to help me find the best pair and best options for my deteriorating eyesight. I’m so grateful for Optics 1 for their incredible customer service. I think it’s safe to say I’ll be a lifetime customer!
I'm so glad I found this company in Auckland. They made everything really easy and had my new lenses ready in an hour which meant that suddenly, i was no longer looking through damaged lenses and had clear vision! I also bought a new pair of glasses that they immediately offered a discount on, so I added transition (auto tinting) lenses too. it's so wonderful to deal directly with owners and know that not only am I supporting a local small business, but I'm also dealing with a family who appreciates my business and who spends it's money in our local communities. Super friendly and super fast. They reglazed my Persol glasses in 1 hour. Cost about half what I was quoted from my usual optician. So happy to have found this place.
Great service, great price; after returning to NZ after 10 years, I've been searching for a glasses place and I'm glad I've found this place and this is my new go-to place for any glasses needs.
Disappointed. Called ahead to ask whether they can change the nosepads, they said a certain amount for changing the pair. Upon turning up at the store, they said that is for one side only. When I said I'd called ahead, they didn't apologise or offer any explanation; just said it costs them an x amount of money to import these from overseas. I find this rude and misleading. Hope they can brush up on things like this. On the other hand, was happy to find a place that can change nosepads.
