I went to see this gynecologist several time for strong pain. Without any exam, he diagnosed me with endometriosis. He didn't considered anything else, he recommended a surgery to check. A surgery is an important procedure and I wanted to be sure it wasn't something else before going trough it. He did a few blood test but never asked for a scan or even referred me to an other specialist. After the negative result of the blood test, he told me the pain was probably in my head. I felt ignored and dismissed. He might be a great gynecologist for pregnancy but I would never recommend him for women that experience pain. First he diagnosed me without any proof and after dismissed what I feel. I found out later on that I don't have endometriosis

I cannot speak highly enough of the care we received at Origins. From the moment we met Kira Brent I knew we were in the right place. She was so calm and reassuring and I felt supported and so well looked after. I never felt like just another number but Kira and the team got to know me and built up a relationship of trust and respect. When I had to make a couple of calls to them in the middle of the night they were answered immediately and responded to with calm and, when needed, action straight away. We now have our beautiful little girl and Kira and the team were a huge part of that journey. Thank you!

I recently underwent surgery in Dr Prathima Chowdary's safe hands and could not recommend her highly enough. Prathima is skilled and has a great manner and ability to connect with patients from initial consultation through to theatre. Some surgeons are all business and forget the human element, she manages to combine the business with a wonderful way that makes you feel taken care of and speaks in a language we lay people understand, making sure you know exactly what is going on and your options. She has a lovely nature. I would highly recommend Prathima for any gynaecological advice and surgery. Thanks Prathima for making the procedure a breeze! Emma

I chose Origins, Dr. Philip Beattie as my LMC because the clinic was very close to my work place, and i really liked the idea of working with one obstetrician throughout the pregnancy (or possibly two, a second obstetrician as a cover) instead of seeing different doctors each time as some of other clinics. Dr. Philip was my obstetrician because i called the clinic and he was available, later i found out how lucky i was to have him as his book filled up much quicker than you would realized. As a health professional myself, i would like to say, Dr. Beatie and his team was very professional, friendly and approachable. For a first time mother, Dr. Philip and his team made sure everything was well planned and i was well informed at every step. I was very supportive of my decision, and out of the many possibilities for my son's birth, i was able to trust Dr. Philip and his team for whatever we were going through.Thank you for made the birth much simpler than it otherwise could be. Looking back, I am just very appreciative for being their patient and being well looked after by Origins. 100% recommended. ONE little tip, call them quickly as the obstetricians at Origins get their books filled up really quickly.

This review is public so I won’t go into too much detail, however being an older mother and a first baby with post op complications for me (baby was fine), I wouldn’t have wanted to give birth without them. We now have a bouncing 7 month old baby.

We are currently going through Origins for our second pregnancy with Philip Beattie. Both my husband and I are healthcare professionals and we felt right in place quickly with the professional level of care and the right amount of information we received. We experienced some complications during labour in the first pregnancy and Philip was excellent handling the situations and delivered a beautiful, healthy baby. It was all worth it knowing that we have one of the best obstetricians in town right there with us. As soon as we knew we fell pregnant again, there was absolutely no hesitation for us to return to Philip/Origins. After meeting with Nick and Dereck at the clinic, we have no reservations in recommending any of the obstetricians at Origins.
