I studied here with postgraduate in Applied Management. If you want to get a open work visa ASAP, then study here cause it only cost you 8 months to get an open work visa for three years. However, if you want to find a good job after you study here, you will be regret. People hardly know this school, you are not going to build a good network through your classmate cause they are all international students. And also, if you want to learn something acdamic, then you will regret again. Most students came to here is only get their visa cause otherwise they are not able to stay in New Zealand!

I love to study here. The lecturers and staffs were excellent and made me feel at home. The tuition fee is reasonable compared to the well-known uni. It's great because I can get the same level of qualification with fewer costs. I know some of the students are not able to graduate from this institution, but hey, If you're not studying, don't expect to graduate. It's not fair for other students who study hard. If you guys want to earn money, don't blame OP if you fail. You came to OP for study not working.

I graduated from Otago Polytechnic at the end of last year. I had an incredible and positive experience in my uni. The lectures are professionals in their field and always answer questions and spare additional time for student support and development. My course was in an IT major and I learned new things and approaches because the program is cutting edge and contains all new trends as Data Science, CHI, etc. The staff also friendly and helpful, I got much help especially in the beginning when I was fresh to the country and frequently needed a piece of advice and the right person always was there. I am happy that I was studying here and every time remember my uni with much appreciations. Thank you to my teachers and people who work there very hard and help students every day, you made my life brighter and definitely open new doors! All the best!

I was studying at Otago Polytechnic in 2017 doing my grad diploma in Sales and Marketing. Thanks much to Dave Bibby who was one of the most inspirational professors on the course. His lessons were always fun and informative. However, the student success team was mostly a challenge to access, very less useful. I was chasing them to get some help with an internship.

I am studying the Diploma in Construction with Otago Polytechnics International Campus. I enjoy my study experience very much so far, the small class is especially beneficial for construction students to be involved in the topics or class activities, which is a unique experience that you can only have in OPAIC. This particular type of class provides me many chances to speak and ask questions in class, which helps me enhance my knowledge and build confidence in speaking in front of people. Teachers and learning advisers in Otago Polytechnics have helped me all the way through my study, they are always there to help you. There are also a plenty of online resources you can access to , very handy, it is free as well. In general , OP is the first Polytechnic established in NZ and also the best ! It is highly recommended to study here and pursue your career with the great help from OP team.

This is no way to give 0 star out of 5, otherwise I will give 0 instead of 1. I was studying here from 2015 to 2017. I think this training institution was founded to earn tuition fees from international students. This institution will not help you academically. From my personal experience, I don't recommend you( or someone) to study at this place. However, there are some good reviews from other students, perhaps we are not talking about the same place. LOL

This Polytechnic teaching and marking system is ridiculous! Their teaching quality is low and yet they expect a high standard. Their marking is unfair and lecturer simply comments a few sentences after making. I don’t even know where I go wrong. It just like giving some comments just so they can fail the paper!! Very disappointing! Study here is very stressful as the guiding system is not there and yet expecting a “super high” quality assignment. Totally not recommended this place for anyone who want to study postgrad. I totally agree with all of the 1 star comments that they get as they are all true and correct. If this “ridiculous” marking system keeps on happening to fail students so they can keep taking our hard earn money I will transfer credit to another school. Their reply on every bad comment is the same but has any changes been made or any improvements to their marking system has been made? Have they even carried out any investigation? Or they just simply replied to sweep problems under the carpet? Totally disgusted!!!
