Prompt and professional response to vandalism at our store. Store front window smashed in during the night, police alerted by public & attending officers waited until I could get to site. Very polite and helpful. Many thanks !

Kind staff. Very considerate of my rights. Overall a good, well planned interview with plenty of unexpected twists and turns. Would get arrested again.

Extreemly unprofessional officers, completely rude and demanding. Also very threatening behaviour when I asked them questions. Public servants are meant to be helpful, instead of helping me with my issue they ignored me and told me it wasn't a police issue and to "go away" i said they were unprofessional and they replied "take us to court, we'll win" "they will believe us not you" . Very bad behaviour from a senoir officer of over 10 years! Should be fired. Currupt!

Police never showed up to an accident scene involving a hit and run. Police never made any attempt to show-up at the hospital for a serious subdermal hematoma head injury. Police stated that the case was not serious enough for them to come to the hospital and get a statement. TELL ME- how do the police judge what is serious regarding a vehicle accident and what is not serious- ARE THEY GOD? DO THEY HOLD MEDICAL DEGREES? Can they foresee internal bleeding or injuries? This is complete negligence on the part of the police but is nothing new in NZ as the police do not even know how to be police here. I can cross-culturally compare them and they are complete idiots to say the least. BTW, subdermal hematomas are the most serious injuries of all accidents and have a 65% mortality rate. MAYBE NZ ought to train its police force to have some medical knowledge so they can do their jobs better. ALL VEHICLE ACCIDENTS that involve unconscious people should be considered serious- but because of rugby games dilemma, they are not- we have to have blood everywhere and also broken limbs for the police to come to the accident scene and make a report Pathetic!
