Starting to understand why 3.5 stars, today I give them 1 star, its OK when I am on time and have to wait but when I am late I am told to go away and come back ON TIME another day, I wasn't even asked how I was feeling :-(

3 times in a year now my Child has been given the wrong diagnosis, each time with horrid professional standards by both Dr's and front desk staff on arrival and departure, even had a Dr raise her voice at us in front of an entire waiting room --"WHY ARE YOU LATE?" --Um, we have been here for 45 minutes and let ourselves known to front desk staff, they clearly havnt told you. No apology, just a grunt and eye roll. The last misdiagnosis went like this "why are you even here, child is fine, just viral, take fluids and rest". Ended up at Starship on a ventilator for the nite. Previous issue was the same, ended up at Auckland Hospital of which the Dr there said "your child has been prescribed a Sub therapeutic dose of antibiotics which has been feeding and growing your Childs infection" -- If you have kids, proceed with caution if attending or seek a second opinion.

Five star to the female Dr Wan. She is attentive and gives great advice unlike other doctors who just want your money. Highly recommended.

An excellent modern facility with great staff. We have been registered patients at Pakuranga Medical Centre for over 7 years. Our family doctor is Richard Mercer and we have found him to be great with our two young boys, putting them at ease and treating us all with a very caring manner. We have always found Richard to be great at evaluating the situation quickly and referring to a specialist, when required, very quickly. In the past Richard has also made follow up calls to see how we are going which is very much appreciated and a kind gesture.

If it wasn’t for Richard Mercer medical knowledge and thoroughly investigations when l did a routine visit and I also mentioned that I had a sore throat he immediately sent me to the hospital where they confirmed that I had stage 4 cancer and was treated in Auckland Hospital for the next 7 weeks with chemo and radiation. So if it wasn’t for Richard swift action I would have been dead within 3 to 6 months. Now three years later still no sign of relapse so thank you Richard Mercer and staff at Pakuranga Medical Centre
