Love going for walks there, especially early mornings during the week. Awesome view, clean, relaxing, has resting spots, great for families, and friends. Can park ur vehicle inside pending which entrance u drive through.

I always enjoy my walk around there. Shame about Waipuna. Used to be the best place to have high tea Now it's a quarantine facility.

Yes, yes yes! Gorgeous spot for that early morning walk. Sunrise on the water was gorgeous. Exercise stations if you're keen. A treasure!

Great spot to take a fresh air lunch break, whether you choose the north side or south side views, its really relaxing especially when the tide is in. You can also do a good walk around the basin.

Surprisingly many people in Auckland don't know about how great Panmure Basin is located near Sylvia Park or Waipuna Hotel. It is a lagoon that you can cycle, jog, run around or just park your car and enjoy the views. It is 3km all around with plenty of parking, water fountain, toilets, kids play ground, exercise setup (see photos). During summer there is kids sailing as well. It is accessible for wheelchair as well. On Sunday there is a kids train that you can ride . Must visit for everyone.

Beautiful walkway, generally flat and about 3 km round the basin. Toilets available and rubbish bins and some benches strategically placed.

Always a great walk around the basin. It has a few hills and some stairs if you want a more challenging walk too. I like how they've upgraded some of the footpaths and park too.
