Relly cool 4 anyone who what's 2 go
Im from Papakura and was very skeptical on going until recently. I didnt look around at all the stalls as I was busy so only grabbed something to eat. I grabbed a hangi & cook island potato salad & they were both very delish. They were cheap so I didnt expect much but was so good. Like many of the other reviews it is a small night market and far from what you can get in papatoe or pakuranga etc but its perfect for our town & I loved it!! Would recommend anyone to check it out (:
I go here when I get the time to for my favourite vendor whos sells the best rewana bread here...they go from 10 ,12 and 15. But she also sells sweet delights as well, like brownies and biscuits all home made. So if you love maori bread ask for Claudia every vendor knows everyone as they're like family and they look out for each other. They also have other foods like Cook Island, then BBQ and More maori kai, with seafood included there on top of that there's kebabs hangi...lots of kai and other delights inside the hall all located on Papakuras Central Hall...
Malaysian food was awesome .. very tasty.
Not an ideal place to have a night market at a park by a police station with no space, there's countdown Roselands car park or the carpark by the RSA Elliott Street its more convenient. Along way to go before its called a night Market like Papatoetoe Night markets Hunters plaza under ground carpark on fridays, Botany Wednesdays, Mt Wellington Countdown carpark Tuesdays, Pakuranga by Warehouse Saturdays...good food clothing etc go check them out.
