Was a little sad to see one of my favourite childhood playgrounds torn down, but the new one is just as neat!

Great playground for kids! Giant tower to climb and two different slides - one half way up for younger kids, and one from the top. A nice water play feature and big sports fields to run around.

We visited Parrs Park and Playground today. Day overcast with a slight breeze and felt quite exposed. Flat tracks around the park - which is great for little tots and bikes (but also had an array of walkers/runners and dogs). Playground itself felt to cater for older kids. It had a water play area as well as sand. The main climbing area went high and had two slides - neither of which would be suitable for a pre-school age kid. A few other activity areas, but less inviting than other playgrounds we've frequented.
