Great coffee and food. For breakfast I recommend the Breakfast Sausage or Bacon Butty with Brown Sauce. For lunch The Reuben is great but my personal favourite is The Cuban.

The sammie's here were amazing. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take a photo of mine before I ate it. Once I took a bite of the French Dip, it melted in my mouth and the rich gravy took over, I was lost in the moment. It was a dream in a sandwich. Get in early if you want the short rib one. Pastrami and Rye, you complete me

Today I had a wonderful experience, with a marvellous homemade pastrami sandwich "The Reuben sandwich", the flavour was fantastic, well served, juicy, tender I enjoyed every bite of it. I was attended by Dave charming guy with a charming uniform and really good talk, amazing guy, the attitude he has is a 10/10, he even taught me that the Cesar salad is the most famous Mexican dish, I didnt know that and I'm Mexican, having my breakfast here really made my day, this place is a must. I'm looking forward to go again and try the Cuban sandwich this time.

Bought coffee and hot chocolates (in total 5) for team and all terrible. A shame as the food is amazing! Really sad that the coffee didn't live up to the food.

Honestly hands down the best sandwiches in the area and (for me) the best Reuben in Auckland as of 23 November 2020. Pastrami and Rye are a cute little neighbourhood store in Ellerslie that specialise in sandwiches and coffee. During the season, they also have lobster roll available on the menu so be sure to look out for that
