I have no idea HOW these stay in business....wasn’t happy from day one.....never on time (if they came at all) and the one time they were on time, didn’t bother to clean the pool!we arrived home that day to a filthy pool (4 weeks since last valet) and 20 guest arriving in 6 hours....Zero response when I tried to get them out to do the job properly..... Never again....fired! And if they get paid it’ll be not by me....

Poolside has been looking after our pool for the last year while we were renovating. They were always on time and the pool never looked better! Can definitely recommend them.

- Nice friendly staff but unfortunately they provide bad advice, and are simply trained to get customers to buy very expensive chemicals. - If you take your pool water in they will test it and it prints out a BioGuard water analysis. The analysis recommends the expensive BioGuard products that should be added to the pool. - Unfortunately, the staff seem to be trained to only follow these recommendations which is a great sales tool for BioGuard products. (FYI, Balance Pak 100 is just sodium bicarbonate and you can buy a 25kg bag for 25 if you look around) - They will ask customers questions designed to confuse them like 'do you have any oxidiser?' It's quite clear I'm using chlorine as my 'oxidiser' (oxidiser is just a fancy word for whatever chemical is being used to kill the bugs) - They don't stock any calcium hypochlorite which is a cheap unstabilised chlorine good for shocking and removing combined chlorine. (get this from Bunnings) - They do stock liquid chlorine which is cheap and unstabilised. But even when your stabiliser (cyanuric acid) level is very, very high they will keep trying to sell you the very expensive, stabilised chlorine!! Bottom line, do your wallet a favour and be very careful following the recommendations on the BioGuard water analysis and the staff who seem to be told to just blindly recommend the BioGuard products. Or better still get yourself the ebook called 'Pool School' by TroubleFreePool.com. It will save you literally thousands of dollars.
