Shuttle from the airport. Excellent cars and service. Very nice staff. Rad car hire is a brand to trust.
So my partner had hired a car from rad car hire auckland air port now the car locking system is buggerd had cobwebs all over the car had a flat tyre told them about it all the can say is that they dont cover it all 4 tyres aint up to road worthy but when we rang them the brunch manger said we have to pay for them or we take the car back to them and they will take money from our bank witch is wrong cause all rental cars should be upto road worthy never going to use or recommend to any 1 just using people for their hard earned money nearly 300 for insurence but if u dont use that 300 u dont get it back they are just robbing people i will be taking this further then just here too nothing but thiefs
RAD, is a rent a car company we hired a car from not knowing the locking system for the entire car (including the boot) was out of order.We had to take our luggage with us when leaving our accommodation and head off for an AM, shopping trip before leaving Auckland, bags in tow ,very inconvenient and stressful .we paid full interance on a vehicle that should not of been on the road in the first instance.On returning the car we explained what we had found and we were not able to get our insurance coverage returned in full which personnel y I found appalling customer service. We would give RAD 0 out of 10 rating and will most definitely not recomend the company to anyone, nore use there company in the future.
Booked car at Rotorua A/P in September. First class booking service and was very surprised to see not only a good service counter at at the airport but also that the car was in a designated area immediately behind the terminal. (many other car rentals ferry you to another depot quick often some distance from the airport and it all takes time!.) However RaD provided excellent booking in and access to the car - all under 5 minutes!) Same upon return, just parked in RaD's space and 'booking in' was a dream. Car was not new but was very well serviced and handled like a dream. Thanks! Will definitely use the RaD service and network again.
Car was good. What we expected. Service was good and will use them again. Thoroughly recommend RAD Auckland airport.
First time using these guys in Auckland but they are just as good as their Christchurch branch. Prompt shuttle service, car ready and waiting, older car but serviced and working well and far better value for money than international companies plus at Auckland you have to wait for the passenger bus to take you to those companies - RAD is now in a group with Omega and Pegasus so brand may change, hopefully nothing else does.
Check in & drop off was easy as, friendly staff, great wee car with courtesy shuttle from airport. Got me as a customer for life, I reckon.
