This being my first visit impressed me in terms of service from the time I called to make a booking to the time my order of Ruang Thong canteen noodles was served. The girl who answered my call took the trouble to clarify the opening hours a few times so that my friends and I could be there for lunch. We were delighted when our orders of Duck Curry, Red Chicken Curry and my noodles arrived. Portions served were generous yet tasty. The girl who delivered said that we could specify for full Thai authentic spiciness akin to that in Thailand! Will update my post again when I pop over for another meal soon.

This is one of four top ten favorite place to have a great dinner or quick lunch around Newton area, Auckland, New Zealand The hostess and staff are really great! Friendly and always smile! I wish we have more time to come for delicious lunch or dinner; as Ruang Thai offer a great range of authentic Thai food and cuisine. There are ample of space and seating. You give that the lightings are soothing and not too bright; besides that the place is spotless and clean at any given time! Price is affordable here, service is fast and yummy food are serve hot! You should give this great Thai restaurant a try; you are not likely to waste your time or get disappointed! We give you Seven Star rating out of possible Five star rating! Keep up the good work guys! Cheers!

Very reasonably priced meals. Excellent taste and large portion sizes. There is reasonable space to sit in the restaurant and the counter staff is very patient to explain the ingredients - we wanted rice noodles instead of wheat and they were happy to customise the recipe. Personally, I would rate their "medium" spice as medium-to-hot. Go for mild if you can't take the heat. ;)

Super generous portions. My girlfriend and I ordered 3 mains, which usually is a pretty big feed but we can get through it. We got 3, barely got through 1 and a half, crazy portions. Super good food, also

This restaurant is simply amazing beside serving authentic Thai cuisine. The best is the wait time is very short for your order you place. They have excellent customer service and the restaurant is always clean! Vicky is the young host, sweet and capable business owner! Price is very affordable too! Keep up the good work, Vicky!
