Shabby, poorly run company who barely pretend to be interested in their customers. I was due to spend a week on Great Barrier island and had got to the Hamer Street terminal before discovering that the sailing had been abruptly cancelled. They claimed that this was due to bad weather. The fact that the weather was fine rather undermined this claim. So not only are Sealink badly run, they can't even be bothered to be honest either.

Top marks to the ground and loading crew for helping me out of a pickle. I mucked up my bookings by accidentally buying a return ticket for the wrong day. They were super friendly about it and somehow managed to squeeze me onboard so i wouldn't be left stranded on the island. I'm very grateful and impressed at how accommodating the team were. Thank you so much. You really made my day.

Went to Great Barrier Island.. 5 hour trip via boat.. would not recommend if you are sea sick.. they have a cafe & a play room & movie room to keep the kids entertained down below. Apart from that great trip for me.. not so much the kids lol

Always good to be able to catch a ferry from here rather then Half Moon Bay...especially if you have just travelled down from up north. Staff are always friendly
