Dont use Simms Diesel. I was over charged and John the manager never responded to my requests for reasons. See the questions section below. Typical lack of response and over charging by Simms. The actual owner of Simms was even worse - swore at me an hung up the phone No one I know has anything good to say about them.. Beware !!

I rang these guys up regarding my Yanmar marine diesel injectors. They offered advice over the phone and suggested a test at their premises. It turned out the tips were worn and spray pattern completely off spec. They rebuilt them, cleaned them, put protective caps on them plus provided new washers for the reinstall. They looked brand new. Again they were very friendly when I picked them up and John from the workshop offered great advice. I recommend any yacht or launch owner in Auckland who is willing to travel 15-20 mins south of the CBD to use this company.
