Outstanding advice, offered free but while the store operator was helping me by finding more detail, I found two locks that fitted the role required perfectly. Very competitive pricing too. 10 /10. R
Unprofessional organisation from the shop. Locksmith arrived 3 hours after call. They made the locksmith leave the job half way done for over 2 hours. I had to call and request someone to come and finish the job. The whole job took approximately 30 minutes, the labour charge alone for this was over 166 dollars before GST. All this during business hours on a weekday. Had no problem with the locksmith himself. ANSWER to shop MANAGER; you are absolutely right with arrival time. I had no problem with when the locksmith arrived, I stated it to give a timeline and establish that it wasn’t a job done urgently. The locksmith stated that he’ll be back in 10 minutes as we are only a couple of minutes drive away from the shop. When he finally returned he clearly stated that he couldn’t come earlier because he was sent away on an urgent job. This is disappointing because you told me on the phone that you only take the job if I don’t call others. I should have said no then. He did not say that he was sourcing the part. I do agree, I should have asked about the labour cost in the shop. However these reviews are done for a reason. I do hope that people will consider both sides as I still believe that the nearly 200 bucks labour cost is excessive. I do not believe that the age of the shop a definite guarantee for anything.
