The original sales team was very pushy and vague with how the terms and conditions worked they were willing to just about twist anything to get the join contract signed. I was fully misslead weather it would cost or not to remove. There general customer service was terrible at best very hard to understand and plane and simply don't listen. How ever once all the bs was sorted in regards to bills ext it was amazing the last bill power wise was nothing I was in the positives. The only person that helped me figure out what was going wrong with my bills and sort all the bs out was the transfer team they were top notch listened sorted and even better called you back with a solution this team deserves something from solarcity they are an amazing asset to have :-)

Worst customer service ever. In fairness when the system works it is great. It has been running well for 2 years great savings on the electric bill. I discovered the battery wasnt functioning, so much for keeping an eye on your system, contacted customer service several times with the problem. I have now been waiting for tech support to get back to me. after informing me to switch the battery off apparently to discharge the battery. I called back at the allocated time to reset the sytem. Unfortunatly no tech available to help. I was informed that the tech team will get back to me. After 5 days, 3 phone calls later with promises the team will get back to me. Still waiting!! The System works well when it works. A lot of work needed on the customer service side of things. Really frustrated with this company. How many days of work do i have to take to get this fixed?

compared power prices for 2 yrs. Solarcity was the answer.Cheaper power, environmentally friendly,no up front costs, can store if moving house, like we did and had it reinstalled. No maintenance costs. Power read remotely and all problems fixed remotely. I reccomend this as it suits us.

We have had solacity fir the past 5 years. What a wonderful service we have and still are receiving. They come straight away if u have an issue. They update the computer system yearly. All this is at not charge to u. If u have a power cut and u gave enough battery back up you don't loss your power. Our power bill has dropped considerably since being with solacity. I highly recommend these guys. Nothing is to much trouble.

Appalling experience. Don't go near these guys. Waiting a month and a half for them to get back to us, chasing every day in the end. Finally said they would send info by email.....2 weeks later and more chasing...nothing! Got hold of them re the site visit they had long promised and they tell us they will need to charge us double the advertised 8 cents rate plus a monthly 145 subscription fee. Total waste of time and incredibly frustrating. Run away!!

DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE BEFORE SIGNING!!! I wish we had never signed with SolarCity. Poor customer service, poor communication leading to misunderstandings. We have tried to be patient, 3 months later and we're still having to explain ourselves with no follow-up from them. I hope we're an isolated case and others are not receiving this type of poor service. *Update: Make that 4 months... Come on! Your complaints process is sub-standard - and you want us for a 20-year contract?! It starts with communication...

Terrible experience to date with SolarCity. Wish I never signed up. I was one person living in my home. My bill was more each month with the system. They told me it would be cheaper. Sold my house, provided another address for them to install it on. They mucked around for months having to chase them multiple times. They couldn't even find the address despite us drawing them a map with an arrow. The patch up job they did on my roof of my old house was terrible. I am now paying 65.00 per month for a system I can't use and they told me they have re installed the system on someone else's house. Have tried to email them and phone them to which they said there manger was busy and would call me back in 3 to 5 days time. What a joke. Don't deal with them.

We are buying a property with solar panels today and the only reason we can't transfer the money over and settle is because the accounts team at solarcity have not sent thru the required paperwork to confirm the transfer document is signed. 3 phone calls, 3 emails, still no solution!! Very upset new customer!! What do you have to do to get heard in this organisation? Clearly a negative review might be my only form of retaliation.
