When it came time to upgrade our car in February 2021, our vehicle service mechanic recommended our best choice would be a NZ first registered, reasonably late model Mazda 2, stating that he would be willing to do a pre-purchase inspection for us. Our online search eventually led us to visit South Auckland Motors Manukau where a friendly young salesman, nicknamed Mozzy, showed us a newly traded one that we were particularly interested in. After taking it for a test drive we made the decision to buy it without our mechanic checking it first, due to the interest of other potential buyers. We were assured that should we find anything wrong within the first 3 months they would fix it. The car was serviced, cleaned and valeted to a very high standard. Upon inspection our mechanic found an area of rust around the left-hand hatch hinge. We spoke to Lyndon, the manager at South Auckland Motors and he asked us to send him a photo of the rust area, which we did. He said he would arrange to have a repair done; following that we had two Covid 19 lock-downs which caused several weeks delay. The now completed repair job is first rate, they also touched up 2 small stone chips before rust could take hold; we had the use of a loan car while the repair was underway. Would we recommend them? Heck YES! Both Lyndon and Mozzy were so friendly and accommodating of us, which meant that what could have been stressful, was straightforward. As a more mature couple, that was so appreciated. When we need to upgrade to a Mazda EV sometime in the future we will certainly go back to them.

My partner got his Ford Ranger serviced here for over 600. Rather than actually replacing the oil, Ford just topped it up with extra oil which we later noticed when servicing the vehicle at home.
