I have added a photo of St Thomas's as it was in 1910 as it was derelict and in the process of being pulled down. The painting is by a great uncle Claude Lorraine Kerry who also painted with Goldie in his studio in Shortland St, Auckland. Rangitoto a mighty backdrop and not a house to be seen. The church building was rebuilt as the original one was in ruins and it is good to see it is well looked after and well used. The attached hall makes a good venue for events including funerals although parking is limited.
