On behalf of my wife Julie-Anne Clarke. Michelle and Sarah, thank you so much for your wonderful and loving care towards us all, and our beautiful Dad. You provided much needed empathy and compassion towards us all in such sad times and we would not have got through the necessary processes without your gentle guidance and soft touches. Thank you again for your helping us send Dad off to sail away with dignity and respect. The Howse Family

Although the staff were warm and compassionate, we were upset to find on arriving to State of Grace West that it is in a highly industrial area in the same lot as a mechanic's workshop. The premises itself looks like it used to be a trade office. It's not at all the impression we got from the website, so when we arrived it was quite distressing as we knew our friend would have hated it. We had assumed she would be taken to the East branch which is apparently run out of 'a lovely old cottage' as she was taken from Mercy Hospice in College Hill. We only found out afterwards that she had been taken here. It's also in the same building as a spiritualist church (the ones who communicate with spirits of the dead) which may not sit well with everyone. I'm not writing this to be unkind, just to give others information we wish we'd had.
What amazing company to deal with. Michelle has made the process of saying goodbye to our mum so easy from start to finish. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for going out of your way to collect the flowers for my grandmother. Really appreciated it.
Absolutely amazing service, Michelle is outstanding, she slotted right in to our world and made us feel so at ease in the hardest time of our lives. I absolutely love her, and I know my Mum would have been smiling away knowing we had chosen her. Thank you to you all at State of Grace, you're an example to the rest. Setting the standard. Love from all of us family of Louise.
State of Grace were recommended to me by a friend. Their sensitive, practical and caring management of my mother’s funeral was wonderful. I felt I concentrate on saying farewell to her and not worry about any of the arrangements. Thank you to everyone at State of Grace.
State of Grace Funerals did a great job at facilitating my dad's passing during level 3 of COVID-19. Rules and regulations with managing deceased loved ones were changing day by day, but Stacey and the staff dealt with this professionally, and with kindness. The cremating process happened very quickly as processes were done under irregular circumstances. They were accomodating for my spiritual beliefs and allowed for my mum and I to have time with my dad before his cremation. We had a beautiful memorial service for my dad after COVID-19 restrictions were lifted. Stacey was gentle and practical in her approach in organising the event and took care of everything so that it ran smoothly. I am so grateful she was there to take charge of the event at a time when I wanted to do not a lot more than celebrate my dad's life. The ladies at State of Grace Funerals are caring, reliable, friendly and professional. They are a service I highly recommend to anyone who.has to go down this path for a loved one.
We could not have been more pleased and grateful for the wonderful support and service offered by State of Grace (west) for the loss of our mother and grandmother, Joan. Every single aspect of the arrangements were exactly perfect and we are extremely grateful. In fact it's hard to put it into words. Joan would have been so pleased. The women who run State of Grace provide such an important service to the community. They are down to earth, sensitive, compassionate, and go out of their way to provide a dignified arrangement which is in keeping with the wishes of those concerned. With the utmost gratitude and the deepest thanks. Lisa
