Ive used Steel Electrical for a number of projects both residential and commercial. I found Jarrod and his team great to deal with, they are professional, punctual and Ive always been very impressed with the end result. Be very careful about dealing with this company. We engaged SSE to conduct some wiring on our property (they were referred to us). We were not provided with an estimate or details of hourly rates. We then received a bill for 18 hours work...2 people at 9 hours each for a job which should have taken half of that. This included 4 hour for the privilege of their workers sitting in Auckland rush hour traffic. When we queried this the owner was arrogant, rude and aggressive even threatening to get Baycorp involved when we refused to pay 126.5. If you are planning to deal with this company...outside of west Auckland...think about engaging someone more local. Follow up to SSE Response: We stand by our review and the only reason that we didn't raise concerns about quality was that we have no means by which to judge it.
