Stevenson was established in 1912 and has enjoyed a long-standing and illustrious history in the Auckland region, New Zealand. Today the Stevenson Group remains 100% family-owned. The values that motivated the founder William Alfred Stevenson, still apply today – tenacity, dedication, determination, steadfast loyalty and a strong desire to contribute to deserving causes in the community. Stevenson continues to make a significant contribution to the development of Auckland’s infrastructure and the city’s expansion – from the early days of constructing drainage tunnels, runways, dams and building motorways, through to supplying aggregates and concrete products for major projects – in infrastructure, residential, commercial and industrial construction markets. Today the company is in the quarrying, mining and related sectors with quarries in Auckland and the Waikato and contract mining projects in the North & South Islands. Stevenson is careful to continue the tradition of creating a great place to work where talented people, with high standards, can achieve great things for themselves, their customers and for Stevenson.
