I am blessed to have discovered Luke. I have a nylon string guitar that was made in 1955, and that has travelled around the world with me for the past 35 years; it was originally owned by my father. To say that the guitar was terminally ill would be an understatement; both the back and front were smashed and cracked, the neck was crooked and the headstock was split in two. All the years I travelled I took this instrument with me, hoping to one day have her restored and be able to play her. Over the past few months, Luke has meticulously taken her apart and then rebuilt every last piece. What he has achieved is outstanding. When I spoke with him before he started the project, I could immediately sense that this is a true craftsman, who has a genuine passion and deep attachment to his art, and if you could see what he is capable of, you will have no hesitation in contacting him and entrusting him to your own beloved instrument. There are not many left in this world like Luke, and if you are reading this, you have been lucky to discover him too.
