a very nice lookout to view the Auckland city..it was cloudy today but relaxing and peaceful.. not many people came by even on a weekend.. would love to see this place develop, as the ramp is quiet old, I was scared for my son walking on it as it has no railings to hold for little people, but he was brave because he loves to explore and it teaches him appreciate wonderful scenic views..

Good place for taking photos of Auckland City. That night high cloud and the brown clouds was caused by the city lights on the clouds.

This is not a review for the boat ramp as I have not used it. This is a review about the location. It is a great site to lookout to the city. Its good place to be in the evening or night to park the car and lookout to the Auckland city skyline and have a chat with your dear ones.

Did not have a boat but went for the view. Auckland is quite a nice city. Newish and friendly but still a big city. About a quarter of the population of the country lives here. Suburbs go on for miles. Decent bus system. You can pay to be hurled off a tower on a rope if you want. Also check out the bright pink road for bikes and walkers.

Great outlook but not good for fishing, too many things to snag your line.
