I have been to Sweet affairs twice now and each time it has been amazing. Their food is flavourful and does not take long to reach the table. They have a wide range of cocktails that are amazing and beautifully presented and also offer a happy hour from 2pm to 8pm with a range of cocktails for 9. They also offer high quality shisha (hookah) at an affordable price. I really can’t fault this place. The outdoor courtyard is great for casual dining and drinking in the sun but the inside of the restaurant beautifully decorated and intimate making it perfect for fine dining. There is also a cozy cocktail lounge hidden in the back with brick walls and a cellar look. My friends and I ended up spending the whole afternoon and evening in all areas of the restaurant. Their staff are extremely professional and went above and beyond to ensure that my friends and I had a great time. I really suggest you check this place out.

Amazing venue, really cool vibe. Staff are great and good music choice. Food menu was excellent. Huevos rancheros was delicious. Cocktail menu is also extensive. We only went for brunch but definitely going back for dinner and cocktails!
Just found this place, attracted by the smell of warm croissants. It's off the main road frontage, but worth finding. Phenomenal coffee, the best almond croissants in Auckland (actually the best I've had anywhere), and great service. Will definitely be back to sample the tapas menu and the cocktail lounge!
Sweet Affairs, is a sweet affair :) It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Parnell, but the ambience is great. Cool place to hang out and have a few, or a formal intimate function. Food was great!! Calamari is top notch, also the brownie they serve saaaah good. Drinks and cocktails delicious! The service here is awesome!! What a great bunch, very helpful and welcoming, genuine quality service. Would highly recommend this affair :)
Sweet Affairs is quickly becoming my local.....even though I don't actually live in the suburb. Whether its breakfast, brunch, afternoon drinks, dinner or events, this place has certainly delivered in spades in only the short time since it's been in Parnell. Hidden away down a cool little alley, it opens to an oasis away from the hustle and bustle. Brilliant cocktails, great service, the tapas is yummy and the hot chips....are to die for. See you soon.
The food was fantastic but it took forever to come even though it wasn't at all busy, don't go if you are too hungry because you will get Hangry. Go on a a Friday night when you can order ahead and have some lovely cocktails. The vibe is also really cool!
I've had a few events at Sweet Affairs now and there's many reasons I keep going back! The staff are amazing - super helpful, making the event stress-free for me and they anticipate the needs of our guests. I love the outdoor area which is fully decked out for an amazing afternoon in the sun (not to mention the great cocktails to be had!) and inside on colder nights we've had cosy events with the beautiful inside decor. Aside from hosting events here, it's a lovely relaxed local brunch spot and a safe space for LGBT. I can't recommend Sweet Affairs enough!
I came here just for a coffee and i discovered a great menu. I had CHIPA, Paraguayan cheese bread made with cassava flour. That brings the memory of my best friends who made them for me. They up my morning with than unexpected taste.
