The view here is spectacular to say the least, such rich history, I recommend families to bring their kids here to appreciate what sacrifices were made in our troubled past. Just to see those guns and the struggles armies around the world had to go through fighting for freedom. Parking is at the bottom and you have to complete an easy walk to reach the summit. See my pictures for more details.

A little steep climb, but the view is amazing. There is an old cannon at the top. Plenty of birds around. You get a panoramic view of islands around Auckland from here. Good for family outing. Remember to bring water and food if you are picnicking. There are no shops on the top.

For little energy spent, by climbing the volcano, you get a magnificent and unobstructed view of the city of Auckland and the Hauraki Gulf. Cars no longer have access, so the old road can be walked on, although Im not sure if there is enough room for electric wheelchairs to pass by the barrier. If you are able, this walk is highly recommended.

Amazing sunset shots on the evening. A nice walk up the mountain. Very good view of the city.

Beautiful views of Auckland and surroundings. Car parking is limited, park on Church Street or Kerr. Best time is sunset

Mt Victoria is a great place to visit. It is dog walker friendly and one of the best views of the Gulf, inner harbour, City and suburbs. It can be a bit windy so consider wearing a jacket.

Just shouting amazing, only parking place is limited and need to have luck. But marvellous sight view.
